Price, 27th Baluchis, Masindi, Unyoro, Uganda Protectorate', bearing 1898-1902 set of 7 to 5r, tied/cancelled by individual very fine strikes of MASINDI cds (Proud type D1). Trivial perf toning, still very fine and most attractive. [Charles Henry Uvedale Price served in Uganda between 1897 and 1899, from 1898 as commander of the Unyoro operations in Masindi. He commanded a column against Sudanese mutineers, including the action at Jeruba, as a result of which he was mentioned in Despatches and given the brevet of Major on 25 January 1899.]
