Sales Executive

A vacancy has arisen for the above role within Stanley Gibbons’ Philatelic Department. This will be a full-time position based on 37.5 hours a week. (9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Monday – Friday) The role will be based in the London office but will be open to flexible working.

The role will require you to immerse yourself in the world of philately in order to effectively sell rare stamps to new and existing clients. We want to attract our customers into lifetime hobbyists who can rely on Stanley Gibbons for their philatelic needs. In addition to this, having the ability to learn a product and a hobby, alongside working with specialists in the field and being able to translate that into targeted marketing and selling.

We are looking for someone who is ambitious, hands on and works with a proactive approach. The successful candidate would need to be a team player and a good listener. The successful candidate must have 2 years professional experience, ability to work to and achieve revenue targets, able to build customer relationships, whilst able to meet deadlines and be organised.
