1925 1d British Empire Exhibition. Two picture postcards both addressed to Zaragoza, each bearing a single 1925 1d Wembley with a second bisected example paying the 1½d Postcard rate to Spain. The first example cancelled by a London "Wavy Lined" machine cancel dated MY.29.1925 and surcharged for delivery as it was deemed underpaid. The second cover a later attempt dated JU.6.1925 to the same address succeeded in getting through without any form of surcharge. A very attractive and unusual pair of covers.
