NEW FOR THIS EDITION:
Extensive revisions to the British South Africa Company ‘Admirals’ include the new ‘Die IIIA’ and ‘Die IIIB’ classifications, the separation of ‘shaded’ and ‘unshaded’ ears on the ½d. and 1d., new varieties including the ‘Waxed Mustache’ in Dies I and II and several new shades.
The Double Heads also see the addition of a number of new shades and revised colour descriptions to previously listed stamps, to aid accurate identification.
The stamps included in the Remainder cancellation exercise of 1923 are now included and an article on the subject, previously published in GSM, is included in the introduction of this catalogue.
An identification table is provided for the numerous surcharges issued by Malawi since 2016 and a great many errors and varieties are listed and priced.
Surcharges for Zambia are also listed.
There are numerous new notes and additional information throughout the catalogue and prices have been carefully revised to reflect the current market for Central African stamps.
