Postage Due. 1963 (17 DE) incoming cover from Kiambu, Kenya, to the Catholic Mission on Pemba at WETE, underfranked by KUT 1960-62 15c dull purple (the correct rate being 20c), tied by despatch cds with bold "T 5 CENTIMES in circle" violet due mark applied alongside. On arrival, Zanzibar 1936-62 Due 10c scarlet applied on face, and tied by very fine "WETE" (Proud type D5) cds of "3 JA 64". Some soiling and creasing, still fine appearance and a very important and desirable cover. Both the latest recorded usage of any Zanzibar postage due stamp, just nine days before the revolution, and the only known usage of a postage due stamp at Wete on Pemba from the entire 1926-64 period.
