1896 (12 Aug) 4½a orange-yellow, type 1 opt on B.E.A., lower marginal block of four from Setting 3, R9-10/2-3, with (inverted) "& REVE" inscription, three stamps with "Small second z" (R9/3 normal), showing diagnostic "Breaks in capital Z" on R10/3, neatly cancelled by complete and small part strikes of "11 SE 96" cds. Some separation and minor bends but a very scarce positional block, with only 41 sheets overprinted. Ex Griffith-Jones. (cat £240+).
