1867-81 4d Dull rose-red "Laureate", wmk V over crown W19 (glazed paper), perf 12, BLOCK OF SIX (3x2), attractively cancelled by two complete and two part strikes of "GEELONG / 2" duplex, dated "OC 31 79". Light diagonal bend, otherwise very fine. A rare and remarkable multiple, apparently the earliest recorded usage of this printing (quoted as "11.79" by Kellow and Part I 2018).
