1884 (14 FE) usage of Great Britain 2d blue registered P/S envelope (1883 issue, Huggins and Baker RP 13, size "G") from Malta to Chemnitz, Germany, uprated on face by 1881 2½d blue (plate 23), tied by very fine "A25", with very fine "REGISTERED/MALTA" oval ds in red alongside. Part Napoli and fine Chemnitz backstamps. Far above average condition, and very scarce thus.
