Telegraph. 1890-91 QV "single head" short set of 7 to 5r , USED WHOLE STAMPS, all with characteristic punched holes or "blind" punches (1a, 8a, on matching fragments). The 4a and 1r with matching "14-1-98" dates (office unknown), the others used at Bombay, except 2a with large part "CHECK OFFICE / 8-1-94". Typical condition, but all with fresh colours and actually above average for such usage. A rare and fascinating group which would be very difficult to assemble or replicate. (cat £410).
