Telegraph. 1869-78 4a light blue, 5r orange-brown and 50r rose (Die I), first wmk (T19), each with a different local seriffed "SPECIMEN" opt (respectively Samuel types T2, T9 and T3), large part o.g. Some typical slight faults (4a perf defect at foot, 50r straight edge at left, 5r fine but for traces of toning), nevertheless a desirable and highly interesting trio with these rare opt types. [Samuel combined his types T2/4 and T9 into a mixed set, with no value known with more than one of these four types.] (cat £1662 without opt).
