1944 (28 JU) censored airmail cover from St George's to England, correctly franked at 3s by 1938-50 6d black and purple horizontal pair, the right stamp exceptionally showing variety "Extra window and broken handrail" (vignette plate 2, R1/6), and 2s black and ultramarine, perf 13½x12½, all tied by three strikes of "G.P.O. GRENADA / B.W.I." despatch cds. Opened and resealed by censor with two line "OPENED BY / EXAMINER SS/8" label (Burrows L6) at left. Minor opening fault on flap, still fine and attractive. A very scarce variety, which must be a rarity on cover.
