1947 Universal Postal Union Congress. Very fine presentation album within a red binder (320mm x 210mm) containing twenty one pages printed in red numbered 1-22 plus an additional page (minus pages numbered 13 & 14). the first few pages detailing a brief history of the British postal system since 1661, Page 9 bearing a 1937-47 ½d-1s set of ten definitives (SG462s-475s, Excluding 11d) and three "Arms" High values (SG476bs, 477s & 478bs). Page 10 bearing a 1940 ½d-3d Centenary set of six (SG479-484s), Page 11 bearing a 1946 Peace set (SG491-2s), Page 12 bearing a Postage Due set of eight (SGD27-34s) with pages 15-22 each with Postal Stationary (2d Postcard, 2d Reply card, 2½d Lettercard, 2½d Stamped envelope "A" size, 2½d Stamped envelope "Commercial" size, 6d Air Letter, 1½d Forces Letter & 5½d Registered Letter Envelope. All stamps and postal stationary overprinted "SPECIMEN" similar to type 9. A magnificent presentation album of the utmost rarity. 2022 PTS Cert.
