1911 GB Used Abroad. Very fine registered envelope sent from Ascension to Todmonrden, England bearing a horizontal strip of three ½d Pale yellowish-green (SG 217, Z21), a 1½d Dull purple & green (SG 221, Z23) and a diagonally bisected 3d Dull purple/orange-yellow (SG 232, Z12) each tied by individual strikes of the type Z2 "ASCENSION" cds (23mm, without code) for JU.20.1911. Bearing a blue/white registration label at left, with an additional strike of the cds. Backstamped by a Registered London hooded datestamp for JY.5.1911. and a Todmorden arrival cds for the following day. A pretty philatelic cover, scarce.
