Landed at Falmouth and showing a superb red 'SHIP-LETTER/Crown/FALMOUTH' handstamp (Robertson type S4). Rated in manuscript at '4/6' (1/10d Ship letter rate plus 2/8d Inland rate) with an Edinburgh arrival cds alongside for JU.19.1811. A very fine strike of this difficult ship letter mark.
