1932 (19 AP) registered 'Papadopoulos' printed cover to Karachi, endorsed 'First Flight CYPRUS to India', franked by 1928 50th Anniversary 19pi maroon, tied by Limassol registered oval, with perforated black/blue airmail etiquette and registration label at upper left (latter tied by additional strike of despatch ds). Carried on the first direct Imperial Airways flight from London to India calling at Cyprus. The reverse with boxed 'NON-RECLAME / NOT CLAIMED' H/S and cds of Tiberias (19 AP), Karachi (22 APR), Bombay Dead Letter Office (30 APR), Port Taufiq (15 MA) and Port Said (16 MA), having been returned to sender. Fine and rare. Pencil notation '50 flown' on reverse.
