1932 (19 AP) registered 'Papadopoulos' printed cover to Bushire, endorsed 'First Flight CYPRUS to Persia', franked by 1928 50th Anniversary 1½pi scarlet and 9pi maroon, tied by individual strikes of Limassol registered oval, with perforated black/blue airmail etiquette and registration label at upper left (latter tied by additional strike of despatch ds). Carried on the first direct Imperial Airways flight from London to India calling at Cyprus. Backstamped at Tiberias (19 AP), Bushire (21 and 24 Ap), Port Taufiq (8 MA) and Port Said (9 MA) having been returned to sender. Fine and rare. Pencil notation '20 flown' on reverse.
