1932 (19 AP) registered 'Papadopoulos' printed cover to Amman, endorsed 'First Flight CYPRUS to Transjordania', franked by 1928 50th Anniversary 1pi black & greenish blue and 4pi deep brown, tied by individual strikes of Limassol registered oval, with perforated black/blue airmail etiquette and registration label at upper left (latter tied by additional strike of despatch ds). Carried on the first direct Imperial Airways flight from London to India calling at Cyprus. Backstamped at Tiberius (19 AP), Jerusalem (20 AP) and Amman (20 AP), along with violet 'RETOUR' and 'REBUT' cds of Amman (10 MAY), Amman despatch cds (16 MY) and Haifa transit ds (17 MY). Fine and rare.
