1932 (19 AP) registered 'Papadopoulos' printed cover to Baghdad, endorsed 'First Flight CYPRUS to India', franked by 1928 50th Anniversary 1pi black & greenish blue and 4pi deep brown, tied by individual strikes of Limassol registered oval, with perforated black/blue airmail etiquette and registration label at upper left (latter tied by additional despatch ds). Carried on the first direct Imperial Airways flight from London to India calling at Cyprus. Backstamped at Tiberius (19 AP), Baghdad (20 and 23 APR), Damascus (26 Apr) and Beyrouth (27 Apr), having been returned to sender. Minor marks still very fine and scarce. Pencil notation '60 flown' on reverse.
