1932 (19 AP) cover from Limassol to Basrah, endorsed 'first flight Cyprus to Irak', franked by 1925 ½pi green, 1½pi scarlet, 2pi yellow and black, and 2½pi bright blue, tied by three despatch cds, with perforated black/blue airmail etiquette at upper left. Carried on the first direct Imperial Airways flight from London to India calling at Cyprus. Backstamped at Tiberius (19 AP), Basrah (20 and 23 APR) and Beyrouth (27 Apr), having been returned to sender. Minor blemishes, but scarce. Only 30 believed to have been flown to Basrah.
