1932 (19 AP) cover to Amman, Transjordan, endorsed "First Flight CYPRUS to Amman", franked with 1924-28 1pi and 1925 ½pi, tied by Limassol cds, with perforated black/blue airmail etiquette, (tied by Amman arrival cds dated "9 MY"), carried on the first direct Imperial Airways flight from London to India calling at Cyprus. Backstamped with violet "RETOUR" and Amman "REBUT" cds dated "10 MAY 1932", black cds of Tiberias (19 AP), Jerusalem (20 AP), Amman (20 AP) and Nicosia R.L.O. (4 JU). Minor marks but rare, with pencil endorsement "10 only" on reverse.
