On the 4th of June the Yorkshire Philatelic Association will host a convention to celebrate all things philately – a community of information about the stamp collecting hobby.
Founded in 1947 in Leeds, there were initially ten societies but the Association grew over the years to now twenty affiliated member societies. The Yorkshire Philatelic Association’s ethos is to provide a wealth of benefits for all philatelists and to create a bridge between philately and a local and international level. The affiliated societies are represented by their delegates.
The event will take place at Rye Hills School, Yorkshire.
