November 2015 Great Britain Departmental Officials List
We have dedicated our brochure entirely to one area of GB philately, namely GB Departmental officials. Due to a recent purchase of a substantial collection, added to our already enviable depth in this area, we are able to offer our collectors the most comprehensive range of Officials we have ever held, starting with examples of the 1840 VR Official through to the discontinuation of these issues in 1904.
In addition to a substantial range of both mint and used examples we are able to offer many varieties, including Specimen and “Cancelled” overprints, Essays and errors of overprint, including many of the great rarities of Great Britain philately and some spectacular showpieces of these attractive and much sought after departmental issues.
It is therefore, not only, a wonderful opportunity for established collectors of this area to enhance their collections but also the ideal time for any collectors thinking of starting a collection of Officials to take advantage of our substantial range in this difficult, but rewarding, area of philately.

Without doubt one of the finest collections ever assembled of material from this area and almost certainly the premier collection to have come to market since the renowned Meredith sale in 1971. Our specialist describing staffs have researched this material painstakingly and we very much hope you will be pleased with their results.
