Exceptionally clean and fresh uncreased example sent from Bath to London and uprated to the 2d rate with a 1d Black Pl.3, beautifully tied by a deep "crimson" red MC. Backstamped in Bath and London for JU.15-16.1840. The adhesive just touched at foot but with good to very large margins on the remaining sides, nevertheless an attractive uprated mulready of exceptional appearance, very rarely seen so fine.
