Piece of margin missing but an impressive positional piece, with doubling of surcharge on both stamps. Only 960 issued (= 4 sheets).

1923 (1 Mar) 20p pale grey, type 5 opt in 'gold', ERROR OPT INVERTED, fresh and fine o.g. Only 1570 issued of basic stamp. BPA cert (2005). (N.B. The overprint is black to the naked eye, with only minute traces of gold visible under magnification in strong light. This stamp clearly comes from the same pane as the block of SG 68ga (black opt inverted) illustrated by Najjar on p.45 of his book).

Minor traces of gum toning and left pair with slight gum crease, but fine fresh appearance. Only 1073 issued (all three opt colours) and very scarce in a multiple. Clear BPA cert (1988).
