1865 imperf 5c rose, photo-litho forgery by Sperati, lower left 'corner' example, 'used' with large part Sperati type 2 oval 'POST OFFI/PAID/A VANCOUVER' cancel in black. A superb example of the master forger's craft, with BPA H/S numbered '114' on reverse. Desirable thus. Ex Gawainne Baillie (realised £646 in Jan 2007).
