Backstamps of Bulawayo (4 APR), Helston (MY 13) and Mawgan (MY 14). Despite the faults a highly important and historic cover, with few such first day usages extant, and from Col Vyvyan, the Town Commandant during the siege. The stamps are from the 'first setting', showing distinctive 'Thick F in MAFEKING' and 'Thick second E in BESIEGED' on the left pair.
