1889-92 1c on 3c purple and blue, type 6 surcharge, variety 'No stop after cent', from R2/6 of the setting of 60, brilliant o.g. Very scarce in this exceptional condition.
1899-1908 $1 rose-carmine and green, IMPERFORATE upper left corner block of 4 with plate number '1', brilliant o.g. (stamps unmounted). Some gum wrinkling but superb appearence, from the sheet retained in the printer's archive.
1899-1908 5c olive-grey and green, prepared for use but not issued, block of 54 (6x9) with top row added (from another sheet) to reconstruct a sheet with full margins, showing four plate numbers, and with handstamped dated ‘26 SEP 1899‘ in blue at foot and M/S initials ‘W.P.F.‘ at lower right. Minor marginal soiling and faults, and a few stamps affected by creasing, still fresh and fine, with o.g. An important item, apparently being a printer‘s registration sheet, and not to be confused with the toned examples that are usually found. The bottom eight rows are unmounted. (cat £720+)
1918 1c slate-blue and slate, prepared for use but not issued, two marginal blocks of 4 in strongly contrasting shades, brilliant o.g. (lower pairs unmounted). Some gum bends but very fine appearance. (cat £176+)
1923 (Jan) 2c on 12c purple, second printing with bars ¾mm apart, block of 12 (6x2) being the top two rows of the sheet with full margins showing two plate numbers, the right hand block of 4 with thick narrower ‘W‘ in ‘TWO‘, very fine unmounted o.g. (folded perfs). A rare and splendid positional piece. Less than 23 panes were surcharged.
1932 15c chestnut, block of 20 (10x2) being the bottom two rows of the sheet with full margins and imprint, unmounted o.g. Some light marginal creasing and separation but an attractive and unusual multiple.
1946 Centenary set of 4 to $1 in matching upper left corner marginal IMPERFORATE blocks of 4, fresh unmounted o.g. Odd trivial bends, and 8c and 15c with slight marginal creasing but most attractive and scarce.
1947 short set of 12 to 50c, Royal Cypher opt, matching blocks of 30 (10x3), each being the bottom three rows of a sheet with full imprint, unmounted o.g. (cat £240+)
