1926-32 Perkins Bacon Court Fee, 1a and 3a to 4r, eleven values, in complete folded sheets of 24 (4x6) except 4a sheet lacking upper left corner pair, unused (1a sheet with gum). A few faults (inclg 3a and 4a sheets with separation) but a remarkable and unrepeatable group. K & M 101, 103/12 (wrongly attributed to John Dickinson and dated 1935-42 on basis of cancels).
1937 6a lemon, IMPERFORATE vertical pair from left of sheet with full margins, o.g. (stamps unmounted). A little toned as usual, and lower stamp with small wrinkle, still fine appearance and rare. (cat £200).
1946-48 4p grey-green, type 29, showing prominent horizontal plate scratches, fine used appearance with part strikes of barred obliterator. Minor blemishes (corner bend, ink spots on reverse) but an interesting example. (cat £85+)
Official. 1930-39 3ch violet, type O7 (14mm) opt in red, perf 12, vertical pair from upper left corner of sheet, ERROR IMPERFORATE BETWEEN, fresh and fine unused. Very scarce, and desirable in this positional form.
Official. 1949-51 4p on 8ca carmine, type O1 'SERVICE', perf 11, complete folded sheet of 168 (two panes, each 7x12), showing error 'FOUB' on left pane, R2/3, very fine unused. A remarkable survival in this form (even singles being quite difficult to find !) and a fascinating item for study. (cat £913+)
Official. 1949-51 3a on 7ch pale blue, type O2 'SERVICE' (in one operation with the surcharge), perf 12½, complete folded sheet of 112 (two panes, each 4x14), showing the listed errors at left pane R3/2 (second 'E' inverted), R6/3 ('S' inverted) and R7/4 (first 'E' inverted), and RIGHT PANE R4/1 and R5/1 (both 'C' inverted), fresh unused. Odd minor creasing and separation, but fine for such an item. A rare and remarkable survival in this form and fascinating for study. [N.B. The inverted 'C' has been wrongly given as LEFT pane R4/1, 5/1 in Part I for over 15 years, which shows the rarity of positional multiples !].
