1937 Waterlow working die proof of engraved King's portrait in oval, in black on thick wove (26x26mm), with M/S endorsements die number '15634' and '3' at top, proof number 'P.N. 10375' below, and '(cance)lled' in red M/S . Minor soiling and abrasions but an important item from the Waterlow archives(Index volume two), engraved by T. Harrison. Similar to item illustrated in Colin Fraser and Robson Lowe's 'The Die Proofs of Waterlow and Sons' (p.10). With issued 3d for comparison.
