Available to overseas customers only

Dear Reader,

Did you know that you can buy anything today from Stanley Gibbons at a substantial "discount" to the price you would have paid a year ago?

If you live in any these parts of the World, you can enjoy the following discounts today:

Discount %

United States

28%

Countries within European Union

Japan

37%

Canada

8%

India

And... you don’t need to thank us...

A consequence of economic events here in the UK is the value of the British Pound has collapsed. But... that is good for you, because you don’t live here.

If you live outside of the UK, buying stamps from us is much cheaper than it was a year ago. It is just the same as “discount”. You get the same stamp but for less money.

How Much You Will Save

Let me show you how much you can save with some examples...

Take the exceptional rarity from British philately below:

GREAT BRITAIN 1840 SG: 2 -- TYPE: UNUSED -- STOCKCODE: P08909711

1840 1d Black Plate 4. A magnificent unused original gum four margin horizontal strip of five lettered KA-KE accompanied by a clear 2006 BPA Certificate. A stunning exhibition piece of the highest rarity. Ex. De Worms (1938).
Price: £95,000.00

A US collector buying this item a year ago would have paid us $196,750. Today you can get your hands on this for only $142,480. That’s a 28% discount – amazing isn’t it?

Now think about this...

Last November we sold a number of stamps to a US stamp dealer with a 20% trade discount. Today, you can buy similar stamps to those sold to that dealer at a 28% discount. You are getting them at below last year’s trade price!

Canadian stamp collectors benefit from an 8% discount.

Take this fine looking Canadian classic:

CANADA 1903 SG: 186 -- TYPE: UNUSED -- STOCKCODE: P08900764

1903-12 20c deep olive-green, large part original gum with lovely fresh colour. Superb appearance with exceptional centring.
Price: £225.00

Last year our Canadian collectors would have paid us CAN$450 for this. Today it will cost you only around CAN$410.

Already priced at a 10% discount to the Stanley Gibbon’s catalogue price, the total saving on this equates to nearly 20%.

Indian collectors can use this opportunity to pick up some of their country’s most important rarities at bargain prices.

We have a number of unique and extremely rare items from Indian philately in stock at the moment (although not for long I suspect).

Take for example, the item below from Indian Convention States which is the only example available to collectors to own privately. They don’t get any rarer than that:

I.C.S. JIND 1885 SG: 6/a -- TYPE: UNUSED -- STOCKCODE: P08903849

1885 (1 July) 1r slate, type 1 curved overprint, block of 4, the lower right stamp error OVERPRINT INVERTED from R10/8 of the setting, brilliant original gum. Although four examples of the error may once have existed (if the stated printing figure of 480 stamps (four panes) is correct), only this unique se-tenant block (and a single in the Royal Collection) are known to have survived. Absolutely superb, and surely the most celebrated and desirable item in Indian Convention States philately. Ex Hind (Harmer 28/5/34, lot 232) and Sturton (CRL 13/12/95,lot 536).
Price: £15,000.00

Last year this would cost our Indian collectors around 122,000 Rupees. Today, you can secure this unique item for approximately 111,600 Rupees.

I already thought that our "expert" had under priced this item. It’s now an absolute steal...

How long will it last?

I could list countless other examples of BARGAINS available to overseas customers at this time but why not look for yourself...

Visit www.stanleygibbons.com and browse through our extensive stockholding of stamps which just became cheaper to you.

When you convert the Pound price into your own currency, you will be pleasantly surprised.

But, I cannot guarantee that the Pound will remain weak...

The pound is as cheap as it has ever been in recent years.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to buy those treasured items from Stanley Gibbons at the lowest price you will ever see.

Happy collecting.

Sincerely,

Mike Hall
Chief Executive
The Stanley Gibbons Group
