A very, very special invitation
Today I'm inviting two readers to invest in a unique opportunity.
I believe we now have over 60,000 newsletters subscribers, so I apologize in advance as just two readers can benefit.
The entry level is £29,950 ($45,000). I make no excuse for the high entry level as you'll be buying into two of the most unique items we’ve ever handled.
We've just purchased two new items of great importance. And they have all the characteristics that we look for in an investment grade item.
• World famous
• More famous today than when he was alive
• Died young
Add to that the fact he is a hero to a billion Chinese people and we are on to something special.
Put into the mix that these are the first two items we have handled in over 5 years and we start to get excited.
And finally, the simple fact that these are possibly the most important items that we have ever handled and we believe it becomes a no-brainer.
We've just purchased Lee Jun Fan's personal Kung Fu books.
Sorry, you know him better as Bruce Lee.
In 1959, at the age of 18, Bruce Lee got into a fight, badly beating his opponent, getting into trouble with the police.
His father became concerned about his behavior and sent him to the United States to live with an old friend.
Bruce Lee left Hong Kong with $100 in his pocket.
After living in San Francisco he moved to Seattle to work for Ruby Chow, another friend of his father's.
Lee began teaching martial arts and opened his first martial arts school, named the Lee Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute, in Seattle.
It was here that Bruce Lee practiced his version of Kung Fu, which he named Jun Fan Gung Fu (literally 'Bruce's Gung Fu'), which he later took to Hollywood to such great effect.
It was at this time that Bruce Lee owned the Kung Fu manuals we have available today.
These manuals bear annotations, diagrams and graphs in Bruce Lee’s handwriting. For example
"right hand block; left go over right and right pulls back immediately and punch out"
We have two of these manuals available. One includes a stamp with Bruce Lee’s address:
"Mr Bruce Lee, 112 Jefferson Street, Seattle, Washington"

The other has a note:
"Property of Bruce Lee" written in his hand accompanied by a hand drawn sketch of a praying mantis.

It's hard to put across exactly how rare anything to do with Bruce Lee is. To give you an idea: We haven’t handled any Bruce Lee items for over 5 years. We’ve never handled anything of this calibre before.
It's 5 years since we sold a single Bruce Lee autograph for £3,500.
And now we have two important manuals, from Bruce Lee's pre-fame days, from a time when he was honing his techniques which later took Hollywood by storm.
Each manual is priced at £29,500 ($45,000).
I can't emphasise enough how important, and rare, Bruce Lee memorabilia is, but to give you an idea you how popular he still is...
A Bruce Lee theme park with memorial statue and hall has been scheduled to be built in Shunde, China in 2009.
He still has a huge following in China and items from his pre-fame days are ultra rare. That’s what makes them so desirable.
One sure fire way to make a profit from these is to hold them until the Chinese market develops. How?
Place them on an Active Management Portfolio with Stanley Gibbons and we will actively market them to our growing database of Chinese collectors when we believe we can show you a profit.
You'd need to view it as a 5 year investment period but given that 10% of our 4million annual website hits now come from China the statistics are very favourably on your side.
Your funds will be placed in a tangible asset for the next 5 years. It's an excellent way to diversify away from the stocks and housing markets, whilst we wait for the Chinese market to develop.
The benefit to us? We qualify for 25% commission on any profit we make you. So you can rest assured we'll be promoting these items for you. We only make money by making you money.
In the current economic climate you may find this an appealing offer.
