Holding in Company

The Company was notified on 24 July 2008 that, following an acquisition of ordinary shares in the Company on 23 July 2008, BlackRock UK Smaller Companies Fund is interested in 1,601,233 ordinary shares in Stanley Gibbons, representing approximately 6.37 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.
